We will also receive a financial report that offers transparency into the stewardship of our shared resources and outlines the parish’s financial health and priorities. In addition\, we will elect new vestry members and address other items of parish business required for the governance of the church. \nBeyond reports and elections\, the Annual Meeting is an opportunity for conversation and connection. It is a time to listen\, ask questions\, and engage with one another as we discern our shared mission. Whether you have been part of the parish for many years or are newer to the community\, your presence is valued. This special service is a time to celebrate the love\, joy\, and companionship our pets bring into our daily lives. \nWe are collecting donations for Furry Kids Refuge in Lee’s Summit\, a no-kill\, all volunteer animal rescue organization. \nSo whether your pet has fur\, feathers\, fins\, or scales\, all are welcome to receive an individual pet blessing. Families are encouraged to bring pets in carriers or on leashes for safety\, or bring a favorite photo if your pet cannot attend in person. This is a family-friendly\, community-centered event where everyone can gather\, give thanks\, and celebrate the bond we share with our animal companions.
