Rector

The Rev. Meg Rhodes

Meg is a graduate of Drury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and obtained her Masters of Divinity at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. At present, Meg is also currently working as a School Counselor when she isn’t with St. Anne’s. She grew up in Keokuk, Iowa just on the northeast edge of Missouri, went to Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. She shares her home with her husband, Eric, and their three daughters.

Deacon

The Rev. Jennifer Blevins

Our deacon, The Rev. Jen Blevins, moved to the Kansas City metro area in 2008. While she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English from Emporia State University, she took a winding road as an adjunct and landed as an instructional designer working for higher education institutions to design and develop online courses. She earned her Certificate in Diaconal Studies from Bishop Kemper School for Ministry.

Jen shares a home with her wife, Karen; three children, Lucy, Bella, and Tucker; and their multiple fur babies (cats and dogs).

Musician

Emily Schaeffer

Emily Schaeffer is a Missouri native and graduated Truman State University with a degree in Percussion and Masters in Education. She has been a percussion director in Harrisonville, Missouri, has taught with groups in Missouri and Iowa, and has presented at the KC Public Schools Summer Institute. She has performed as a member of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and Gateway Indoor Percussion. In addition to playing with Marimba Sol de Chiapas, Emily enjoys playing in the Kansas City Percussion Collective and various other performance opportunities.
