Advent Prayers with prayer beads

Gather with St. Anne’s each week during the Advent season for a peaceful time of guided prayer using Anglican prayer beads. This reflective practice helps participants slow down, breathe, and center themselves on the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love as we prepare for the coming of Christ.

Whether you are familiar with prayer beads or trying them for the first time, each session offers a simple structure, gentle guidance, and space for quiet reflection. Participants will pray through a seasonal set of Advent prayers, explore meaningful bead patterns, and discover how this ancient spiritual tool can deepen personal devotion.

All are welcome—beginners, long-time practitioners, and those seeking a calm, contemplative rhythm during the Advent season. Prayer beads are provided, and you are invited to bring your own if you prefer. If you’re unable to join us in person, prayers will be provided online.
